Infused Guacamole Recipe for Cinco de Mayo
Posted by Mynt Admin

Is it just us, or does 2021 seem to be positively zipping by? Because here we are at the end of April, which means we're already thinking about Cinco de Mayo, that beloved day meant for celebrating Mexican food, culture and heritage! This time last year, one of our favorite cultivators, KYND Cannabis Company, shared a killer infused guacamole recipe that we just had to share. Read on for highlights and, most importantly, the recipe, or hop on over to KYND for the full post.

Seriously, It’s Health Food

Avocados are an impressive little fruit. Not only are they chock-full of vitamins and minerals, they’re also a great source of fiber and offer a laundry list of health benefits. When you eat avocados, you’re actually promoting healthy digesting, lowering your cholesterol, maintaining stable blood sugar and nurturing that little gut microbiome of yours. And it only gets better when you add a little kick of CBD or a THC/CBD oil. We’ll go ahead and recommend KYND’s tincture for this.

Infused Guac Recipe

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1-2 limes, juiced
  • 1 tsp salt, and more to taste
  • 1-2 tbsp red onion
  • 1-2 servings of CBD or THC/CBD oil, to personal preference

Optional add-ins

  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1-2 tsp jalapeño pepper
  • 1 tomato, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

Combine red onion, garlic and jalapeño (if you’re using the last two) in a molcajete if you have one and a sturdy bowl if not. Use the mortar and pestle or a wooden spoon to muddle (grind) into a paste. Next, cut and pit avocados. Scoop out flesh and use two forks to mash the avocado into the muddled mix. Stir in the cannabis oil and any extra ingredients, then taste and add salt if necessary. Enjoy immediately, and remember to keep this amazing infused guac well away from kids and pets.

Check out the full post over at KYND, and remember to grab some cannabis oil next time you stop by MYNT so you can whip up this guac on May 5 — or whenever you need something healthy (and delicious).
